Double fretted clavichord after Anders Wåhlström 1752, Hallnäs, Sweden
This attractive instrument is based upon a clavichord built by the Swedish factor Anders Wåhlström in 1752 and kept by the Swedish Association Hallnäs Hembygdsförening at Hallnäs.
Fretted from the second octave. The first octave is complete and is unfretted.
C-c3, tuning after wish (e.g. Kirnberger 3, Werckmeister 3, meantone, etc.), outer dimensions ca. 114.0 x 34.0 x 12.0 cm, case in pear wood, wrestplank in oak, bridge in beech, lime keyboard with boxwood plates and pear wood sharps.
