Small double fretted clavichord after an anonymous 18th c. clavichord at the Stockholm Musikmuseet collection, numbered NM264785a. It strikes a good balance between the requirements for a reasonably powerful tone and a small dimension. This clavichord is fretted in a diatonic way starting from the second octave. The first octave is unfretted. Example of finishings : case in wild cherry wood or pear wood, wrestplank in oak, bridge in beech, lime keyboard with boxwood plates and sharps in pear wood.
