Harpsichords
Although I build mainly clavichords nowadays, I'm still eager to build harpsichords of the Franco-Flemish tradition.
The instruments I build are replicas of extant early harpsichords, with the least interpretation possible. In order to meet the needs and the wishes of performers, I can extend the compass of some instruments, although I'm not a fan of such adjustments, to say the least! I strive to make those adjustments in accordance with historical practice as much as possible, throughout the building process, from design to finishing.
